Job Summary
This position involves maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of sports fields and public spaces while assisting with various tasks and seasonal duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional Saturdays.
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or facility maintenance (preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Mow and trim grass, remove weeds, and maintain landscaping in public spaces and sports fields.
- Plant, prune, and remove trees and shrubs as needed.
- Clean and maintain facility restrooms to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Collect and dispose of trash from facilities and grounds.
- Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for events held at the facilities.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, pressure washers, and hand tools.
- Perform seasonal maintenance duties as required.
- Irrigate and water fields to maintain proper turf conditions.
- Prepare sports fields for games and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
