10/29/2023 UPDATE: Roane County is growing, with new people moving to the county, existing businesses expanding, and new businesses locating in the county. How will this growth impact the county and how will services be provided to new residents and businesses? In order to identify the strategies to manage the growth, your county officials need the input of its residents. A community meeting to hear the comments of residents will be held Tuesday, November 7 from 4:00 to 7:00, at the Kingston Community Center, located at 201 Patton Ferry Road. On August 22, 2023, Roane County stakeholders met with Community Development Partners to discuss the initial steps of creating a long-range strategic plan for Roane County.
