Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations or DUI convictions within the past three (3) years
- Skid steer experience preferred but not required
- Previous commercial truck driving experience preferred
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Drive roll-off container truck to the landfill/CMC for disposal and processing
- Clean loose debris from truck and/or ground to maintain clean site and safety along highways
- Clean waste from truck body after each delivery to ensure efficient equipment operation
- Demonstrate ability to maneuver truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces
- Coordinate pick-ups with convenience centers, schools, cites, and business
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing trips with scale operators and bay workers
- Change boxes and compactors as needed
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspections
- Complete and submit various reports at the end of each shift
- Act as a floater, filling in as needed for roles such as scale operator or bay worker
- Other duties as required
