Roane County is proud to celebrate April Miller, Roane County EMS Director, who has been recognized as the recipient of the 2025 Tennessee Ambulance Service Association (TASA) John Bond EMS Administrator Award. This prestigious honor is given to EMS administrators who exemplify outstanding leadership, mentorship, and dedication to improving emergency medical services across Tennessee’s 95 counties and 139 ambulance services.

In 2024, Roane County EMS was named the 2024 Tennessee Region 2 EMS Service of the Year – a reflection of the dedication, teamwork, and commitment of the entire EMS team. This recognition further highlights the high standards of service and care that April Miller and Tim Suter, Director of Emergency Services has helped to cultivate.
